The buyer backed out of the sale yesterday afternoon right before I headed to work at the winery. I think it goes without saying that this is a huge disappointment for me.
Thank you to everyone for all your good thoughts and support, I’m sure another buyer will come along. In the meantime I think I’m going to turn my office into my Yarn Room to make me feel better.
The ice is almost gone and it’s snowing!

I stand by my original thoughts. This just means that there is a better offer right around the corner! Hang in there. It’ll happen any minute now!

I’m sorry to hear that. Handling fiber is a good way to get over your disapointment.

I hope your rotten non-buyer gets crotch lice. A yarn room sounds so decadent. You should definitely do it!

i second tab’s comment on the crotch lice hoax on the non-buyer…boo on them!

Ugh – I remember waiting for someone to buy our house which we had put up for sale at the time of year when the local housing market traditionally went into hibernation. I hope the package that comes next week takes your mind off the house for a bit!

chin up, it just wasn’t right. You’ll sell it soon and it will be even better when it does! Yay for snow (boo/hiss to ice).

I’m so sorry about the sale. But hey, if you had interest during an ice storm, just imagine how many people will line up once nature decides to cooperate! You’ll be…
Wait, you work at a winery?

That stinks! I’m sorry about that. Hopefully anoher buyer comes along soon.
I like the idea of making the office over into a yarn room. I can’t wait to see the progress.

Bobbi, I’m so sorry. What a sucky outcome from some stupid ice storm. I’ll be sending good vibes your way that someone else comes along soon. (Although the way my life has been going lately I may be good vibe-less.)

Damn them!
I’m sorry that happened. I’m sure something else will work out very soon!
