I’ve always been sad that I drifted way from this blog and the connects I made through it. A lot has changed since then, like Facebook, does anyone still read blogs anymore? Is anyone still ready this one?
I think its come to a point in my life where I want to make a personal blog priority again, so I have a choice resurrect this blog or start a whole new one.
Reasons to start a new one
- I’m tired of the “rogue2408″ user name & handle. Though I’m not entirely sure what would replace it. Possibly geekgirl24 though that’s tired to my Etsy shop & some librarians know what is me and it would make it easier for them to find the new blog.
- a fresh start
- new title
- I’m not sure how much knitting there will be and this blog has become mostly about knitting.
Reasons to resurrect this one
- I like it here
- I could just redecorate (new theme & new title)
- already have readers (theoretically, no idea if anyone is still out there)
- When it started it wasn’t about knitting
Thoughts?

Still out here!
I’d just rename the blog to what you want and post whatever you want. I think it’s the easiest. Reading about stuff other than knitting is ok with me. I enjoy reading about other’s pursuits, trips, etc. Hi! BTW!
still here too! whatever your decision you have a reader here or at the next web address.
Very simply, I would miss you. The blogging world would be flatter if you were gone..
I vote for resurrecting this one, because I’m making the same decision with my blog. I’ve found that social networking (FB, texts, chat) aren’t replacing the need for longer forms of writing for me, and I suspect the same is true for many writers. I still come by, even this long after your last post. Come back here, restart here.
Thanks!
I am leaning towards resurrecting the old one because I think it would make for less work & I like the idea of keeping everything in one place. I’m in the midst of sort of a limbo right now, waiting to see which direction my life is gonna turn. I should have some answers in a month or so I think I’ll hold off until then. Or maybe blog some knitting stuff
