Mason Dixon Hand Towel

IMG_5316My first finished knit of 2007. Started in August of 2006 (I think). Hand towel from Mason Dixon Knitting. I used some sort of cotton from a large cone, no idea on the brand. Finished measurements 15×19. A little too wide and not quite long enough but it works. I was running low on yarn and didn’t’ want to risk starting another pattern repeat without being able to finish it.

Calorimetry

IMG_5613From the winter issue of Knitty. Third time was the charm with this one. The first time I frogged it I was almost done when I realized I had misread the pattern. The second time I was almost done when I realized I need to go down needle size. Ugh! But I loved it!
Patons SWS in 70013, Natural Earth, on size 7 Addi Turbos. Started Jan 25th Finished Jan 26th.

Button finally sew on in the first week of February. So now officially done! :)

Given away as a gift.

Wicked

IMG_6355

Cast on Jan 23rd or around there. Knit until joining under the arms at which point I decided it was too big, and started completely over. Also frogged back 5 inches after realizing I didn’t like my decreases. It seems like this took forever, but I really wasn’t working on it all the time. I really love this sweater!

  • Pattern : Wicked from Zephyr Style
  • Yarn : Artyarns Supermerino
  • Needles : KnitPicks Options
  • Cast On : Jan 23rdish
  • Weaving In – April 8th

HI, How are things going? I knitted last night with Dawn and Jennifer. What fun. I feel like such a novice after spending time with them and checking out your blog. It just makes me very excited about knitting though. I have so many things I want to knit. You guys offer (and are) so many resources. I’m chekcing out ravelry’s website next!
