Work that is! I’m going to stay home and devote all my time to my hobbies and blogging about them! Well I guess blogging would be a hobby too! It started out with me looking at other librarian blogs. They range from smart to funny to sassy, but I don’t really want to blog about work and I don’t work the public desk or do anything that exciting. Then I was looking at book blogs, where people talk about the books they read. Awesome! I can include the books I read on my blog, because I really do like to talk about what I read. Then knitters’ blogs, and I was inspired to knit more, especially since I really miss it. I thought – I’ll add my knitting stuff to my blog too! It is my blog so it’s about me and all the things I like! Then I realized that some people have more than one blog! A different one for each hobby! I thought I could do a separate one for reading, knitting, and a personal one! But I don’t have the time to read that much and I don’t think my reviews are that great. Then I thought I could do a separate one for knitting and get one of these cool buttons . But I don’t have time to knit that much and I’m not an expert knitter, so who would really want to read a blog about my half finished projects, poorly finished projects? I could entice people in with yarn p0rn but I don’t even have the funds to buy lots of new yarn and take pictures of it. Then I thought about the article I’d read about what goes on your blog and entices people to read it and I thought no one but the 3 people who read my blog now will ever read it, and that made me sad. So I decided that’s it! I have to quit my job so I can stay home and have more time to fully devote myself to my hobbies so that I’ll be better at them and have more to blog about so I can have a separate blog about each and have a high readership. I hope my readers will support me financially!
