Since I was sick all weekend, I got a lot of knitting done. With a little help of course! Simon wanted to be on my lap the whole time, which makes it hard to knit and as you can see, to read the pattern. Apparently the pages of MDK make a nice pillow.
Oscar helped out by keeping watch out the window.
I did manage to finally complete my first MDK washcloth.
Then I made another. I don’t like the second one as well. The fluffiness of the yarn made it hard to see my stitches and it was just too big. Oh well.
I also started another hand towel using cotton. So far I like the cotton a lot better than the linen I used. I know it will be super absorbent. I bought this cone at Michael’s, but unfortunately I don’t know what brand it is. In my excitement to get started I ripped off the band. I do know it’s not SnC or PnC and that the band was plastic.
I also got a little further on my Irish Hiking Scarf. I’m enjoying it but the cables make it slow going.
Yesterday I joined a Dishcloth Knit Along. It starts Sept 15st, so expect to see lots of dishclothes over the next couple of months!
