After being at a conference for most of last week, I got back to the office in time for staff in service day. Ugh. Let’s just say, even with the weekend in between, I was not up for sitting through yet another day of presentations and workshops, especially when it was so nice out. So, when I got home I took da boys for a walk in the park. It was beautiful out! The leaves changing and I got some great pictures of the colors. My parents will be in town this weekend and we’re planning a couple of things that will involve more Fall pictures and Fall is my favorite time of year, so I hope you like the changing leaves!
Oscar loves going for walks, especially in the park. He can run around in front, behind and beside me. He spends most of his time at the end of his leash. I think he’s establishing his independence. Too cool to be seen with mama, you know.
Simon is usually pretty happy to prance along the sidewalk for a little way, then decides he is exhausted and must be carried. Here he is begging to be picked up. Really! He stands on his hind legs with his friend ones on my leg, jumping up a little, you know in case I need help lifting his mass off the ground. if I just acknowledge him but don’t pick him up he paws at my leg. “Mama! I want up! Carry me! I only weight 7 pounds! I’m tired and tiny!” Who could refuse that face?
