Lady in the Water came out the Tuesday before Christmas and I was able to watch it that week. I really like M. Night Shyamalan‘s movies and try to see all of them in the theatre, some how I didn’t get to see this one. I love it! It’s a little scary, but not bad, like his others, more suspenseful. Nathan told me I would cry and he was right. I was a little apprehensive, because I’d been disappointed by The Village, I figured out the secret early on, so I didn’t enjoy it as much. But Lady in the Water did not disappoint!
I also made time to watch my second favorite Christmas movies (A Christmas Story being the first) Love Actually. Several years ago when I first saw this I didn’t expect to like it, I’m not a big fan of romantic movies. But I did like it, a lot. Some times I even watch it when it’s not Christmas! I think it depends on what is happening in my life which love story is my favorite. If you havent’ seen it, you should!
I also watched Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest. Actually I watched it several times, because I fell asleep the first time. I didn’t think Nathan noticed but I gave myself away when I woke up and asked – who is that guy? He said is that the first time you’ve seen him and I said yes. He pointed out it was half way through the movie and that was the bad guy and obviously I’d been sleeping. Whatever. I liked the first one ok, I was a little disappointed by the second one. I was glad I didn’t pay to see it in the theatre. I hear a third is in the works, let’s hope it’s better than the second.
