I read this book pretty much in one day so it never made it to my reading list on the side bar. Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name: A Novel by Vendela Vida tells the story of a young woman’s journey to find her biological father and discover who she is. After the death of the man Clarissa believed to be her father for 29 years she discovers he is not her biological father. There is no one to turn to for answers, her mother has been missing for 14 years. Clarissa sets off to find her father and perhaps find herself. I really enjoyed this book and Clarissa, although later I read a review that you are not supposed to like her, oh well to each her own. Anyone who has wanted to disappear, even if only for a while will relate when she says “Travel is made for liars. Or liars are made by travel”, and tells a different story for her trip to everyone she meets. I really liked this book, and I’ve recommended it to everyone I know.
