I love my KnitPicks Options needles, they’re great, I highly recommend them! They’re almost all I ever use any more unless I need a needle smaller than they go. But the case. Gag. You’ve seen the reviews, plus they short you on the plastic sleeves. Annoying. Come on they’re cheap plastic sleeves throw in a couple more. Plus I worry they will split and fall apart. Well when I spotted the cases Zonda was making I knew they were the perfect substitute.
Let’s start with the outside. First off look at the fabric! It’s beautiful! It’s trifold with a scrunchy around it and coordinating trim. It’s sewn together really well. I’m mighty impressed.
Open it and you’ve got a top flap covering the pockets. All the colors coordinate beautifully. Did I mention I love my case? 🙂
The inside is lined with canvas, the heavier fabric giving it structure. The top row is smaller pockets. There are enough pockets for each needle size to have it’s own pocket and the pockets are big enough that if you have two of one size they will both fit. The bottom row is a couple of smaller pockets with some bigger ones and an accessories pocket that Velcros closed. Genius!
Plus she was super nice and friendly to work with and my case was mailed out right away! My case will be home for my KnitPicks Options but on would work equally well for double points and/or circulars. Want one of your very own? I think she’s taking a break right now, but you can see more examples and contact info at Jane Z’s Place.
